Privacy Policy

Bar X Ranch is a family-owned ranch in LaGrange, Wyoming. This page explains what information we collect when you sign up to follow our bull calves, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you sign up on this website or through our Facebook or Instagram sign-up form, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address

If you submit a form on another page of this website, such as a catalog request or the contact form, we collect the details you type into that form.

Comments

If you comment on one of our monthly updates, we collect your name, email address and comment. Your name and comment are shown on the page. Your email address is never shown. We use it to tell you when Kyle replies and, if you tick the box, to send you Bar X updates.

Every comment is checked automatically before it is posted, to keep out profanity, hate and spam. The check is done by Anthropic's Claude AI, which processes the comment on our behalf.

How we use it

We use your name and email address to send you updates on our bull calves as they develop through the winter, and news about our annual bull sale. We may also use your information to reply if you contact us.

Facebook and Instagram sign-ups

If you sign up through a Facebook or Instagram form, the information you submit is sent to Bar X Ranch. We use it as described on this page. Meta handles your information under its own Data Policy.

Who we share it with

We use GoHighLevel to store your contact information and send our emails. It processes your information on our behalf.

We do not sell your information.
